Poolingdesigns were originally introduced by Dorfman in 1943 as a potential approachto economically screen soldiers with syphilis during World War II. There aremany applications such as blood testing, chemical leak testing, codes and DNAscreening. In this talk I shall introduce the development on the constructionof pooling designs.
主讲人先容：
王恺顺，北京师范大学教授，主要从事代数组合论研究，公开发表学术论文110余篇，主持多项国家自然科学基金，入选2008年度教育部新世纪优秀人才支撑计划，获得2010年度教育部自然科学奖二等奖（第3完成人）。现任北京师范大学数学科学学院院长、《数学进展》编委等职位。
